A forestry mulcher is a heavy tracked machine with a spinning drum of carbide teeth on the front. It drives into standing brush and trees up to roughly 8–10 inches in diameter and grinds them into chips on the spot. The result is a clean, walkable surface covered in a natural mulch layer that breaks down over a season or two.
If you're building on the site, mulching alone won't get you there — stumps and roots stay in the ground. For construction pads and driveways we combine mulching with excavation and grading. We'll tell you honestly which approach fits your goal.
